"Dear Dr. Amaral, I don't know how many thank you cards you get from patients, but I am a nurse and enjoy getting feedback from patients. My husband and I fare from Florida, and I had run out of options for treatment in this area. I did a lot of Internet research and found your name. I thought I had a problematic LSI joint, but you confirmed it, and I had LSI joint fusion and periformis muscle release done. I was discharged the next day feeling a lot better. Here it is, four months later and I must thank you so much for allowing me to live my new life. I am back to work as an RN at a busy endoscopy center and most importantly, back to exercising! I am speed walking and loving every minute of it. The SI pain is 100% resolved; the piriformis still a bit sore but am faithful about my exercises for that muscle.
